Mar 13, 2008
Heatwave conditions welcomed us on the first day of our fixtures with tempatures in the shade of 40.2 degrees resulting in the cancellation of play for the day. After all the rain we have enjoyed it was hard to believe our tennis would be cancelled due to the heat! However it is great to see fixtures have commenced and from all reports the players have settled in and are enjoying the tennis. It is important to remember that all players need to confirm with their Captain if they are playing each week. Parents on roster must also remember to attend and provide support and assistance in accordance with the Parent on roster duties. Most of all we encourage our players (and supporters) to enjoy the great game of tennis.Season 1 2008
