GBJT Annual Doubles Tournament

The Annual GBJT Doubles Tournament for members will be held on Sunday 28 October starting 8am (arrive 745) at the University of Queensland. This is a great event for our players so get your partners and enter this enjoyable event. Entry forms will be emailed shortly. Breakfast, Morning Tea and Lunch available from Saint Lucy.

We had a great finals day today to bring Season 1, 2018 to a close!  Some very close matches on the day to determine our winners, runners-up and best of the rest winners for the season.  We thank all our supporters and helpers throughout the season including our sponsors - Head Sporting Products, QTC and Saint Lucy Cafe as well as our Level Co-Ordinators, Replacement Contacts and BBQ helpers.

GBJT Family Fun Day

GBJT invite our players and family members to the GBJT Family Fun Day to be held at the University of Queensland on Saturday 16 June. Full details emailed out to each of our players. 

GBJT Finals Day

07 Jun 2018

The GBJT Finals will be played this Saturday, 9h June, with all teams playing at the Queensland Tennis Centre at Tennyson.  Play will start at the earlier time of 1:00 pm.

The Presentation of Awards and Trophies will start about 4:30 pm.  Players on bye from the teams in the Finals are invited to attend the presentation to collect their trophies.

GBJT will provide a free BBQ for players and their families, starting about 2:30 pm.  Any parents who can help with the preparation, cooking or serving of the BBQ, please see Peter on  Saturday.

A Finals’ Day Raffle,to be drawn after the GBJT Presentation, with prizes including a Head Tennis Racquet, vouchers to play on Pat Rafter Arena, vouchers for St Lucy Cafe at UQ and the QTC Pro-shop and some Head tennis accessories.


There will be some spare courts at Tennyson so players not playing in the Finals are welcome to use those courts.
